Welcome to the Green Dot Institute (GDI) Registration Page

The Green Dot Prevention Strategy for College is a research-supported strategy shown to reduce interpersonal violence, including sexual assault, dating/domestic violence, and stalking on college campuses by equipping students and university employees with the skills needed to intervene in high-risk situations and model behaviors that create and strengthen healthy campus norms.

The Green Dot Institute (GDI) equips participants with the skills, strategies, and tools to implement the Green Dot Prevention Strategy on college campuses. By fostering cultural change and reducing power-based personal violence, Green Dot helps create safer, healthier communities.

The GDI includes two key components:

1. Coordinating Team Planning Meeting

  • Designed for Coordinating Team members, this session focuses on strategic planning, logistics, and oversight.
  • Campuses must have a minimum of two Coordinating Team members complete this meeting to ensure successful implementation.

2. Instructor Training

  • Prepares instructors to deliver Green Dot workshops with confidence, fidelity, and engaging facilitation skills.

Important Attendance Information:

  • Campus Green Dot Coordinators: You must attend both components in full to be certified as both a Green Dot Coordinator and Instructor. Even if you do not plan to facilitate workshops, attending both components is essential to support your instructors and oversee the implementation of the program with fidelity.
  • Other Team Members (Instructors Only): To receive certification as a Green Dot Instructor, you must attend the entire Instructor Training component.

Campus Attendance Requirements (for campuses new to Green Dot):

Campuses must certify a minimum number of instructors based on undergraduate enrollment:

  • Fewer than 3,000 students: 3 instructors
  • 3,001–10,000 students: 7 instructors

Campuses that are already implementing Green Dot do not have minimum requirements for registration.
